Under the name variations Dzydzilelya, Zizilia or Didilia, she is known as the goddess of love and wedding, fertility and infancy, this name is explained as meaning "she who pampers babies" (cf. dziecilela). Devana has been regarded as a manifestation of the great goddess, especially in her terrestrial fertile aspect.
